The hidden face of Valencia port

A group of Italian students with the European Project Leonardo Da Vinci Planning the Intermodal Network - Pianificazione e Gestione della catena intermodale: dalla movimentazione alla documentazione, are in our beautiful city of Valencia to carry out a 5 weeks training period in Port Logistic sector. So in this day, ESMOVIA has organised for them a visit to Valencia harbour in order to get a depper knowledge of one of the biggest habours in Spain.

The harbour of Valencia is formed of 3 harbours and the one in Valencia is the most famous and important. “Valenciaport” is divided in several docks like organic matter dock (cereals), flammable matter dock (chemicals products), traveller dock (tourists). Recently, city of
The visit continues in boat. Students have the pleasure to discover the different docks of the harbour like no-one. On the sea, they can see a sand mountain on their left side and a wall of tank on their right side. In spite of a lack of information from the guide everybody enjoy the visit.
