{"id":6692,"date":"2023-09-07T15:45:40","date_gmt":"2023-09-07T13:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esmovia.es\/?p=6692"},"modified":"2023-09-07T16:15:53","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T14:15:53","slug":"valenciaphoto-2023-the-photography-festival-of-valencia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esmovia.es\/en\/6692-valenciaphoto-2023-the-photography-festival-of-valencia\/","title":{"rendered":"Valenciaphoto 2023, the photography festival of Valencia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new edition of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/valenciaphoto.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valenciaphoto<\/a>\u00ae\u00a0\u2013 International Festival of Photography and Debate organized by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/espaidartformacio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Espai d\u2019art fotogr\u00e0fic<\/a> is taking place in different locations of Valencia from 8 to 5 November 2023.<\/p>\n<p>ESMOVIA, in our commitment with culture and creativity promotion, supports the festival as official sponsor.<br \/>\nValenciaPhoto\u00ae is a project born in 2022 for the annual celebration of a photography festival of the highest level and free of charge for the citizens, where established professionals and young avant-garde artists meet with the aim of making it a European reference in the art of photography.<\/p>\n<p>After the success of the 1st edition, which received more than 20,000 visits, the festival is now ready for its 2nd edition.<br \/>\nThe representative motto of this year&#8217;s festival is &#8220;UTOPIA.EU&#8221; in reference to the ideal of a united Europe, as a common space where all nationalities live together in peace.<\/p>\n<p>With the celebration of this festival, the aim is to cooperate in the fusion of different arts through photography as a metaphor of the union of peoples.<br \/>\nValenciaPhoto\u00ae is structured around three main axes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>International<\/strong>: Collaboration with artists, festivals, galleries and institutions in different countries. France is the guest country for 2023 edition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promotion of local photographers<\/strong>: Each edition focuses on one of our local photographers. This year the work of <a href=\"https:\/\/hectormurgui.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hector Murgui Luna<\/a> will be shown to the public in the Municipal Hall of Valencia City Council.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Education<\/strong>: Lectures, debates, master classes, guided tours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the opening week (8-17th of September), prestigious buildings will open their doors to share culture with you all:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La Llotgeta Center Fotogr\u00e1fic.
