FROM LITHUANIA TO SPAIN TO PROMOTE INTERCULTURALITY AT THE SCHOOL
From 8th to 14th of April, 2018 ESMOVIA have hosted a group of teachers from Lithuanian Aukstadvaris Agricultural School and Kaisiadorys School of Business and Technology. The project “Know before judging” (num. 2017-1-LT01-KA102-034899) was funded by European Union under Erasmus Plus project for VET teachers. We have organized for them several professional visits in different VET schools in Valencia. Project’s main goal was to improve educational, psychological, lectures giving and class management abilities of training specialists with the purpose of encouraging tolerance and fight against sneering, discrimination and ethnic conflicts at schools.
During the visits, Lithuanian teachers have had the opportunity of visiting the schools facilities, meeting and exchanging experiences with their Spanish colleagues, observe the lectures and to have a deeper knowledge on integration and diversities in the Spanish Education system.
