Visiting Ankara for KA2 Erasmus project “OPEN – Opportunities in the Puzzle of Ethnic Needs»

The 2nd partner meeting of the KA2 Erasmus+ “OPEN – Opportunities in the Puzzle of Ethnic Needs” project was held from the 26th to the 27th of September 2018 at the Yenikent Ilksan Ortaokulu School in Ankara.

The 3 years KA2 project has arrived at its first year so a sum up of what has been done was discussed by the partners during the 2 days of transnational meeting.

The hosting partner organized visits to some of the classrooms, so everyone could see the equipment in the classes and ask questions on the methodology and educational system used in the school.

Part of the transnational meeting was dedicated to the intellectual outputs of the project and their stage of work, focusing on the innovative pedagogical approach based on the development of the French pedagogue Célestin Freinet as a educational approach for a better social inclusion of the students in need.

Some time was also dedicated to the budget, interim report and documents needed. The partners decided all together the next deadline related to this topic.

During the transnational meeting the partners also established the date of the next joint training staff that will be held in Ankara at the end of March, 2019 and all the logistics aspects connected with the organization of the training as well as the tasks of each partner.

All the topics on the agenda have been considered and partners expressed their satisfaction about the results obtained during the meeting.
