Description

The project aims to promote a sustainable nautical tourism offering in partner countries by designing educational and vocational training pathways, addressed to VET students and private and public tour operators.

The general objective of the project will be achieved by:

  • Analysing and comparing the nautical tourism markets in EU partner countries
  • Identifying emerging needs, areas of improvements as well as the know-how, specific competences and skills that are demanded to meet the market’s requirements
  • Visits and sharing good practices among key stakeholders: nautical tour operators, companies, local administrations and entities, experts, VET and Higher education trainers and representatives.
  • Designing and implementing specialized training pathways for nautical tour operators

  • Professional visits to local entities, companies, VET and higher education centres in Spain, UK and Malta.
  • Comparative Research about nautical tourism in partner countries (Italy, UK, Spain and Malta)

Our role

As a partner of the project, ESMOVIA will contribute to the creation of the project outputs, and will be actively involved in the dissemination and exploitation of project results.

Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility of individuals VET

Description

The project was addressed to 60 VET students or recent graduates from Administration and Management, IT and Cooking sector, selected by consortium of 6 Valencian VET schools.
The main goal of the project was to provide participants with the opportunity to acquire and develop transversal and technical skills by doing a traineeship in European companies, thus increasing their chances to be efficiently incorporated in the European labor market.
21 transnational mobilities for teachers were also held in order to ensure a more effective support to students at both the beginning and the end of their transnational experience.
The mobilities took place in UK, France, Italy and Poland, from November 2016 to April 17.

Our role

The project hast been written by ESMOVIA and will be coordinated by us in collaboration with the promoter of the project, IES LLuis Simarro, and the rest of the national partnership. We will be in contact with the national and international partners and in collaboration with all of them, will manage the mobility, considering the training, logistic and bureaucracy aspects.

Description

The project aims at promoting work-based learning in all its forms among companies, social partners and VET providers and at making WBL approaches more effective and more targeted to the labour market needs.

The project’s objectives are:

  • improving cooperation between VET providers and companies as well as to provide a market oriented training offer and business driven learning paths to the students of the web design and social media;
  • motivating VET students at risk of dropping out, by providing them with enhanced Work Based Learning methods and tools;
  • enhancing the participation of company managers in work based learning initiatives;
  • improving the internationalization of the VET training offer and of work based learning approaches.

  • Repository of E-learning Video Lessons and interviews about web design and social media market delivered by managers and experts.
  • Online platform for the organisation and management of virtual internships.
  • Easy-to-use guidelines and tools for the organisation and management of international placements.

Description

The project aims at providing young people with non formal education opportunities for acquiring digital skills, enhancing employability and entrepreneurship in order to support their transition from school to the job market and achieve a better match between skills and companies’ needs.

The general aim will be achieved through:

  • Creating synergies between teachers, students and companies to better meeting the job demands in terms of skills and competences
  • Creating a database of resources and equipping teachers and school councillors with interactive tools to evaluate students’ competences and offering career orientation
  • Involving students in interactive training session and creating a free interactive training programme about job simulation
  • Developing youth’s transversal skills and competences through practical activities
  • Involving companies in delivering practical sessions and giving testimonials

Description

SHIFT project aims at developing and enhancing the professional role of the ‘Intercultural Mediator’ in order to promote an inclusive and socially cohesive Europe.

The main object of the project is to analyse how this professional profile is managed in EU countries by launching an exchange of practices among partner organisations about available educational pathways, qualifications and a set of skills and competences related to the intercultural mediation.
