Description

The project was born after a careful analysis of the changes in nowadays society due to the current humanitarian crisis and the displacement of millions of people fleeing from their countries in search of better life conditions.

The aim of the project is to collect good practices from partners from different EU countries, especially those at the forefront in this humanitarian crisis.

The objectives are:

  • Sharing best practices between organizations in Europe with respect of refugees and migrant’s integration
  • Developing suggestions and pedagogical approaches for local and educational authorities to deal with the opportunities of a multicultural societies and to plan possible measures to prevent conflicts, xenophobia, radicalization and marginalization
  • Providing target groups with digital and media competences on the use of social media to strengthen the voice, participation and representation of refugees and migrants at policy making level.

Partnership

Project outcomes

  • Project website and social media pages.
  • A transnational Training Course for key professionals and experts working with refugees.
  • Online Toolkit on Refugees Integration, ICT Skills Building and Employability, to be used by counsellors, former refugees, trainers and educators.

Our role

ESMOVIA collaborates to the project as associated partner, supporting communication and dissemination of project results.

Description

The aims of the YEES Project are to foster cooperation between the Vocational Education System and the world of work and to promote the inclusion of youngsters in the labour market in an effective way using social media and crowdsourcing based tools.

  • The two Guides created to the needs of the target groups;
  • MOOC course;
  • Using crowdsourcing approach for collaborative learning;
  • Testing of the updated Guides by VET teachers and companies’ human resources managers, community managers in order to make them acquire the skills to expolit the full potential of web social media for matching job offer and request;
  • Insertion of the YEES Project results into the European VET systems.

Our role

ESMOVIA will be an Associated Partner in this project contributing to the dissemination and exploitation of the project.

  • Guidelines for teachers and trainers as well as a training kit for students;
  • Website to guarantee access to products done during the project;
  • Online community that will use materials done during the project.

Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility of individuals VET

Description

The project foresees the mobility of 60 VET students selected from a consortium of different Valencian VET schools in the fields of Cooking and Outdoor Sports. Thanks to this mobility, students will get new skills in their field of specialisation, as well as new language and other transversal skills. They will also improve their future employability.

Our role

ESMOVIA is the promoter of a consortium of different Valencian VET schools. We are in contact with the foreign partners and in collaboration with them will manage the mobility, considering the training, logistic and bureaucracy aspects.

Description

The aim of the project is to promote employment for long term unemployed adult people, through an effective use of social media, ICT and through the training of 10 adult learners in each participant country that will be called “social digital mentor”.

Project outcomes

The results of the project foreseen an online social digital mentoring training package, a social digital mentors website and social media pages, as well as the creation of a Social Mentor office with a mailbox, where all interested adult learners may consult their questions or make an appointment with the social online mentor.

Our role

As promoter of the project, ESMOVIA will coordinate the partners.
